Watercolor Painting for Curious Noobs (Beta)
Join me in my studio to learn about simple watercolor painting techniques that will elevate your paintings & level up your understanding of color theory!
WHO IT'S FOR
This workshop is for people with a beginner or intermediate understanding of watercolor and gouache! This class is for ages 13+. Everyone will come away with a FRAMED painting they'll actually want to hang on their wall! Heads' up this class is not for the watercolor purist; we will be working with watercolor and gouache with optional paint marker finishing touches.
Bring a friend or fly solo! This class will have up to 18 students.
WHAT WE WILL BE PAINTING
Students will be guided through a quick technique lesson and then on to the final piece! Students will paint the same landscape with an abstract foreground. Students will have the option of two "color ways" for the piece.
We will be working with 10x8" pieces that will be framed to 11x14".

2.5 hours (including a 15 min break)
This is an on-site class only!
OTHER LOGISTICS
- This class is BYOB
- Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy in
- No snacks inside the class area (you may bring for the break!)
- No pets without specific permissions, as the studios are a low-allergen zone
- No outside art supplies
- Each attendee will be given a chair
$19.50 (Beta classes only charge for supplies!)
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
No returns or refunds will be issued for classes. If you sign up for a class that you can no longer attend, you may be able to transfer the class credit to another class (not applicable for Beta Workshops)! Please contact me for questions on transfers.
